Spa operations manager | front of house

The Spa Operations Manager is involved in all aspects of the day to day Spa operation at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and will directly oversee training, supervising and scheduling of the Spa Front Desk team and 1st floor spa operations. He or she will be the primary point of contact for all guest-relations issues and lead guest resolution as well as oversee VIP and return recognition programs. Additionally, the Spa Operations Manager will assist the Treatment Staff Manager with all daily operating tasks and the management of all spa associates. This position is responsible for driving revenues daily and promoting all Spa programing while maintaining five star standards and continuously improving the daily operation of spa. The Spa Operations Manager will act as the primary liaison to partnering departments including: Spa Café, Spa Boutique, Central Reservations, Discover Ojai, and the hotel Front Office to encourage collaboration and communication to key areas. He or she will develop standards and training for the Spa Attendants and ensure daily execution of five star standards in the locker room areas. He or she will support the Spa Front Desk Supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies and monitoring the physical condition of the Spa. He or she will handle guest and associate inquiries and challenges and promote a positive spa experience and foster positive team moral. This individual’s lifestyle should reflect the current standard of good health, fitness and grooming. Leadership experience in a resort spa environment is highly desirable.
