Food & Beverage Coordinator

The Food & Beverage Coordinator will support the F&B Division by coordinating private dining events and providing administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage and the F&B Managers. Job Duties: (50%) Private Dining Coordinator for Restaurants- The F&B Coordinator will assist by responding to private dining inquiries, corresponding with guests, guiding menu selection and booking reservations. Qualified candidates will have at least 1-2 years relevant food & beverage experience in a luxury resort or fine dining environment. We are looking for individuals who have proven capabilities in sales and event coordination. The successful individual will have a strong sense of responsibility, superior organization and detail orientation. Will liaise with Director of Restaurants and Restaurant GMs to create seamless booking processes and ensure successful and profitable events. (50%) Administrative Assistance to Director if Food & Beverage- The F&B Coordinator will assist by answering incoming calls, answering emails and mail, managing calendars, ordering supplies, editing and printing menus, monitoring menu paper stock, maintain OpenTable, managing TimeSaver, as well as other projects assigned by the Director Food & Beverage. Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational Skills. While primarily a Monday – Friday position, due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be requires to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of hotel. Previous administrative experience required. Previous restaurant and/or food and beverage background required. Must possess initiative and drive; have broad relevant food and beverage knowledge.
