Patrick Garrison:
Patrick Garrison -Patrick is one of the founders of Black Sheep Yoga in Oceanside CA. After suffering a low back injury Patrick turned to yoga for a cure. Many years later- after fully immersing himself in the practice- he is pain free, happy, healthy and blessed with everything that yoga has brought into his life. He feels the need to pass this gift along and has developed a number of creative, fun flows focusing on safety, breath, alignment and spirituality. He also believes that having fun, smiling and laughing in class is a must!

Jay Fields: Jay Fields, M.A., RYT
Teaching People, Not Poses
Jay Fields is not your ordinary yoga teacher. As the author of the books Teaching People, Not Poses and Homebody Yoga, Jay is praised for walking her talk and for supporting her clients in showing up authentically and unapologetically. Tapping the vein of guidance and integrity that arises from a life dedicated to embodied spiritual practice, she guides others to unearth this same vein within themselves. Jay’s gift lies in her practical and poetic approach to helping people lead more inspired lives that are uniquely their own. She has spent the last 15 years leading vision quests, teaching yoga and helping people fall to pieces so they can come back together whole. She holds a Master’s degree in Integral Transformative Education.

Grace & Grit Yoga is an all-levels hatha class that is comprised of one part deep self-study, one part play. A blend of poetry and anatomy, spirituality and neuroscience, expect to feel yourself come into integrity, both in terms of physical alignment as well as in terms of the wholeness of your presence. The approach is slow-paced, personal, intelligent and participatory. Classes are particularly great for folks tending to injuries or for people who are interested in getting out of their head and into their body more.
