Visit Camp Ojai for children 5-12 offers supervised educational activities with a focus on learning about the Chumash Indians, and a daily visit to our Ranch's small animal farm and a pony ride. Hit the courts with Ojai's full service tennis center with 4 hard courts. Borrow one of our vintage cruiser bikes and peddle into town along the Ojai Bike Trail to Libbey Park where you'll find picnic tables under the shade of sprawling oak trees.

This indoor/outdoor venue featuring a red canopy roof is surrounded on all sides by large windows. It features a beautiful view of the Inn's championship golf course, as well as a panoramic view of the valley and mountains. The pavilion accommodates up to 150 people. Due to the pavilions proximity to resort guest rooms, there is a 10p.m. curfew and music must be non-amplified
Our three-acre hillside Herb Garden, with scents of geranium, rosemary and lavender drifting through the air, offers a unique experience for a small ceremony. This area is home to 65 different herb types and 20 varieties of fruit trees set among meandering paths punctuated by teahouses. This area will accommodate up to 60 guests.
Year-round activities include golf on the George C. Thomas-designed 18-hole championship course, horseback riding and lessons at the Inn's own 800-acre ranch, full service tennis center with 4 hard courts, 2 heated swimming pools and whirlpools. Our proximity to some of Southern California's most beautiful ocean beaches, inland lakes, nature trails and mountains provides limitless opportunities for outdoor fun and adventure.
Next to the Oak Grill Terrace, the Fragrance Court bursts with thyme, tarragon, sage, chives, sorrel, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, marjoram, basil, mint, lemon balm and exotic perilla. Our own garden-fresh herbs are used daily in the gourmet creations of the Inn's chefs. When you are at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, take time to smell the flowers, and visit our new hillside Herb Garden and Labryinth. .
Located at our main pool, The Swim Club offers casual poolside dining from April through November. Items include fresh soups and salads, tasty sandwiches, hearty burgers, snack items and a wide selection of Inn-made ice creams and sorbets. Room service is available at the pool from December through March.
One of our most romantic outdoor locations, the Fragrance Courtyard is located in the Inn's original Hacienda Building. Here, fragrant herbs, old-world roses and glorious views of the Topa Topa Mountains surround you. The Fragrance Courtyard accommodates up to 50 people. There is a 10p.m. curfew and music must be non-amplified.
The Neff Lounge, built in 1923, served as the original lobby for the resort. This richly decorated room, warmed by two large fireplaces, is the perfect place to meet prior to dinner.
Maravilla is the resort's signature restaurant featuring both elegant ambiance as well as an award winning California Central Coast Cuisine. We have created a unique menu that highlights fresh foods grown in the California region. The menu utilizes the freshest local fruits, seasonal vegetables, nuts and olives, as well as seafood from the nearby Pacific coast. Maravilla's extensive wine list consistently garners awards from such publications as Wine Spectator magazine.
Oak Café is our featured restaurant for great casual dining all day long. Enjoy our warm and friendly atmosphere indoors by the fireplace or on the outdoor terrace surrounded by ancient oak trees. Our chef has prepared classic American Grill cuisine and Oak Café features an extensive Central California wine list. Open daily 6:30 am-9:30 pm.
Jimmy's is a great gathering spot to meet with friends after a full day of outdoor activities at the Inn. The menu features selections from our wood burning brick pizza oven and a full selection of draft beers and central coast wines. Jimmy's is open daily 11:00am to 1:00am. No reservations are required.
In a setting as natural and unspoiled as the Ojai Valley, it is only fitting that it is home to one of America's premier championship golf courses. First sculpted from the natural terrain in 1923 by renowned architect George C. Thomas Jr., this historic 18-hole course plays 6,292 yards and par 70. The Inn also features a fully stocked Golf Shop with the finest selection in sportswear apparel, equipment and golf accessories.
Voted the "Best Spa in America" by National Geographic Traveler Magazine. All guests of the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, sixteen years and older, have complimentary use of the Spa facilities during their stay. This includes use of all cardiovascular and resistance equipment, Mind/Body classes, spa pool, wet areas and locker room facilities. Daily facility use for non-hotel guests with a minimum of one service: $20 - without service: $50.
Located in the Spa Ojai courtyard, the Café at the Spa is a great place to relax and enjoy light and healthy fare. Tha Café menu features a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and wraps, fresh juices, smoothies and a selection of fine wines. The Café take-out counter is open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00pm. No reservations are required.
