Whether you’re new to the hospitality industry or a seasoned professional, the structure may vary from resort to resort. This helpful page will guide you through the various divisions of our organization here in Ojai.
Our activities departments consists of our children’s programs such as Camp Oak and our seasonal recreational activities offerings such as custom scavenger hunts and holiday festivities.
Our culinary team includes stewarding, prep cooks, line cooks, sous chefs, chef de cuisines, banquets chefs, resort chef and our executive chef.
Food & Beverage
Our food & beverage team includes hosts, bussers, server assistants, food runners, servers, bartenders and F&B leadership roles in the following areas: Spa Café, Swim Club Café, Herb Garden Pool, In-room Dining, The Oak, Maravilla and banquets.
Our engineering team includes painters and engineers of varied skill levels who all ensure our pristine resort is perfectly maintained.
Designed and originally built in 1923 under the direction of George C. Thomas, Jr. and Billy Bell, the golf course was hailed as "a marvel of golfing architecture." Our golf team includes cart barn attendants, starters, pro shop, golf academy and golf professionals.
Our retail team includes all sales staff and management of our four beautifully appointed resort shops. The Hacienda Shop, The Golf shop, The Tennis Pro Shop and The Spa boutique.
Our rooms division includes the front office, concierge, telephone operators (PBX), guest services, bell and valet services and housekeeping departments.
Sales & Marketing
Our sales & marketing team includes Group Sales, Catering and Conference Services, Leisure Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing and Public Relations.
