Camp Ojai

Hi-Ho, hi-ho, it's off to camp we go! The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa has created the perfect environment for children ages 5 to 12 with daily themed-based programming including outdoor adventures, arts and crafts and slippery fun on our inflatable water slide. When it comes to fun on the inside, Camp Ojai can't be beat with a big screen TV, foosball and pool table. Will the kids play pirate, chef, or cowboy today?

Full Day: $100, includes morning snack, games, arts/crafts, lunch, afternoon snack, and theme related activities.

Half Day: $60 ($70 to include lunch), includes arts/crafts, snack, outdoor games and theme related activities.

Evening Program: $65, includes dinner, arts/crafts, outdoor/indoor games and theme related activities. Evening Program is offered from 6pm-9pm, Thurday, Friday and Saturday.

Camp Ojai Daily Schedule - Beginning June 2013

Monday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Under The Sea"
A day of underwater explorations will lead the campers to the depths of the sea as they make their own sea creatures, sand art, and enjoy silly waterfun.

Tuesday | 9 AM - 4 PM 
"Exploration Ojai"
 It's time to set out and explore everything Ojai. From the Herb Garden to the Main Pool, the campers will have the run of the resort; making art, science, and splashing explorations.

Wednesday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Budding Artistst"
Let's make a mark of color on the day with creative crafts and activities inspired by the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa's budding spring season.

Thursday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Pirates Ahoy!"
Ahoy Matey! We are setting off on a high-seas adventure! Along the way, we make ourselves ship-share attire, search for hidden treasure, and walk the plank at the pool!

Thursday Evening | Camp Ojai's Camp Out | 6 PM - 9 PM
No evening Camp Ojai offered July 4th. Children 5-12 years old are invited to explore the night at our Camp Ojai Camp Out. 
Join us at twilight as we embark on a scavenger hunt to uncover Ojai treasures. Evening includes nighttime activities, dinner and a kid-friendly movie.
What to bring: a bathing suit for summer camp.
 
Friday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Best of the West"
The Campers of Ojai will learn how the West was fun! We will head out to explore a Chumash Hut, head along on a Native American History Hike and spend the afternoon creating crafts the Chumash way.

Friday Evening | Rockin' Pajama Party | 6 PM - 9 PM
The sounds that fill camp tonight are those of our campers rockin' out and relaxing in their PJ's. What songs to sing? What dreams to dream? Come out tonight and find out! We will get cozy for bed as we join the rest of the Ojai Valley Inn forthe evening's Dive-In Movie feature at the Main Pool.
Parents can rejoin their campers for the end of the movie at the Main Pool.

Saturday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Summer Olympics"
We welcome all Olympians to an active day of games that will require stamina, enthusiasm and a winning spirit!

Saturday Evening | Space Odyssey | 6 PM - 9 PM
3, 2,1...Blast off! Campers are off to explore the skies. What creatures await us? We will find out as campers are on a Space Odyssey. Discover the powers of Galaxy Gak and see how high our rockets can fly!

Sunday | 9 AM - 4 PM
"Super Safari"
The campers of Camp Ojai are setting off on a Super Safari Adventure! They will be embarking on a scavenger hunt, keeping their eyes open fo rthe creatures that are native to the Ojai Valley.

Professional counselors are certified in CPR and First Aid. Camp Ojai is available daily with an advanced reservation.
Due to the state-mandated counselor to child ratio, reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. For information and reservations, please contact our concierge desk at 805-646-1111, or within the Inn, contact extension 51.

Theme days offer a fun new way to spend each day. All daily activities are planned around the theme of the day and the children in attendance. Camp Ojai will modify events to fit the needs of all children we receive each day and different age groups are taken into consideration for activities. Daily activities may depend upon weather. Children must be completely potty trained, regardless of age. No exceptions will be allowed.

Dive-In Movies

Enjoy a movie at the Main Pool every Friday and Saturday night starting at 8:15pm, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Movies and fresh-popped popcorn are complimentary. Yum!
