Camp Oak

Camp Oak is the perfect environment for children ages 4 to 12 with daily theme-based programming including outdoor adventures, arts and crafts and learning through fun, and interactive play. Children will leave Camp Oak with fun-filled memories of Ojai and all that it has to offer. Registration is required 24 hours in advance.

Camp Oak Daily Schedule - Autumn 2016

Dino Day
Monday | 9AM - 4PM

Camp Oak will transform into a Jurassic world. Campers will discover fun facts about dinosaurs, create cool crafts and go on a dinosaur scavenger hunt. 

Harvest Artists
Tuesday | 9AM - 4PM

Let's make a mark of color on this harvest season with creative crafts and activities inspired by the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa's natural offerings. 

Mad Scientists
Wednesday | 9AM - 4PM

Campers will become mad scientists in our laboratory. Here at Camp Oak, we make science fun. Children will leave Camp with smiles on their faces and their very own science experiments in hand.

Bug's Life
Thursday | 9AM - 4PM

Buzz on over to Camp Oak as we learn all about bugs and insects. Children will have the opportunity to make bug themed art and play exciting games!

Pirates and Princesses
Friday | 9AM - 4PM

Once upon a time and a Yo-Ho-Yo-Ho, it’s off to Pirate and Princess Day at Camp Oak we go!!! Children will embark on a fairytale adventure where they will create fantastical stories and memories.

Animal Planet
Saturday | 9AM - 4PM

Children's favorite animals will take on a new life today at Camp Oak. Campers will go on an animal scavenger hunt, create masks and learn all they can about their favorite animals. 

Superhero Day
Sunday | 9AM - 4PM

It's a bird! It's a plane! NO! It's the Camp Oak Superhero's! Today campers will create their very own Superhero persona by making their own costume and playing super-tastic games!

Camp Oak's Night Camp
Friday & Saturday | 6PM - 9PM | $60 per person

Kids will embark on a scavenger hunt to uncover Ojai treasures. Evening includes nighttime activities, dinner and a kid-friendly movie.  

Professional counselors are certified in CPR and First Aid. Camp Oak is available daily with an advanced reservation.
Due to the state-mandated counselor to child ratio, reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. For information and reservations, please contact our concierge desk at 805-646-1111, or within the Inn, contact extension 51.

Theme days offer a fun new way to spend each day. All daily activities are planned around the theme of the day and the children in attendance. Camp Oak will modify events to fit the needs of all children we receive each day and different age groups are taken into consideration for activities. Daily activities may depend upon weather. Children must be completely potty trained, regardless of age. No exceptions will be allowed.
