Yoga for Foodies

Friday, October 29- Join Dave Romanelli for an afternoon of deep stretches, great tunes and a tapa sampling of local, seasonal fresh cuisine featuring Chef Jamie West. This event will begin with Dave’s flowing yoga class whose message and music will emphasize a more sustainable pace. When we move in a frenzied way through the day, we don’t eat…we feed. This high-velocity lifestyle diminishes the flavor and essence of life. Dave and Chef West will touch on tastes, sounds and messages that arise from the earth and nourish us at every level of being. Enjoy a post yoga sampling of organic SpaTeanis and savory creations rooted in sustainability, eco-friendly practices, local farming and compassion. This will be the dream experience for anyone who loves yoga and great food. $60.00 pp includes 90-minute yoga session beginning at 4:00 p.m. followed by culinary tasting at Café Verde.

A few years earlier at the healing waters of Lourdes, France this doctor witnessed something that forever changed his view on life, science and religion. David Romanelli’s vinyasa flow workshop will stretch, lift, twist and open your tightest muscle of all …the brain. Whether dressed up for Halloween, relaxing in a yoga practice or sipping on local Ojai wines, those little shifts in the mind and little sparks to the imagination can do wonders for the body. Sunday, October 31-Since 2005, yoga teacher and bestselling author David Romanelli has been collaborating with Vosges Haut-Chocolat founder Katrina Markoff to create the Yoga + Chocolate experience. In this super-relaxed deep stretch yoga class, David will share secrets from the world’s happiest countries as rated in the World Happiness Index. There is much to learn from the far-reaching corners of the world like Iceland, Bhutan and India to name a few. Afterward, you will indulge in a flight of Vosges Haut-Chocolat truffles, the French secret to greater happiness. What could be more perfect on Halloween?
