Breakfast Line Cook
$12.50 per hour
Minimum one (1) year minimum culinary experience or training equivalent. Ability to follow recipes. Ability to follow directions. Ability to work without daily supervision. Ability to focus attention to details in performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize work assignments. Excellent guest service skills and attitude. Enthusiasm for working in a team oriented, fast paced environment that fosters creativity. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Line Cook II
$16.00 per hour
The Line Cook 2 assists the culinary team in providing Five Diamond standards of service and cooking to guests while practicing OVI&S policies and procedures. They prepare and cook food with attention to cleanliness and sanitation and are consistent with quality standards, taste, timeliness and cost effectiveness. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work station.
Requirements: Minimum of (2-3) years of experience in an upscale restaurant or hotel fine dining room. This position requires the ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment; proven success in teamwork, innovation and creativity, high personal standards and a strong desire to fulfill guest expectations; flexibility with schedule, training in sanitation and Spanish skills are helpful. Formal culinary training is preferred. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Lead Line Cook I
The Lead Line Cook is a vital part of the culinary team, providing efficient preparation and delivery of established menu items that reflect California cuisine flavors. They prepare and cook food with attention to cleanliness and sanitation and are consistent with quality standards, taste, timeliness and cost effectiveness. The Lead Line Cook supervises quality control and the proper and effective operation of the line. This position will assist with training and skill set development for the entry level culinary team. Enforces associate grooming standards, standard operating procedures and attendance. Ensures all associates take breaks on rotation basis as required. And make changes as needed to staffing to ensure all areas are properly staffed.
Requirements: Minimum of (4) years of experience in an upscale restaurant or hotel fine dining room. This position requires the ability to work as relief supervisor in absence of Sous Chef; proven success in team leadership, innovation and creativity, high personal standards and a strong desire to fulfill guest expectations; training new associates, and Spanish skills are helpful. Formal culinary training is preferred. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

The Engineer I assists Engineer's II and III and conducts minor repairs and maintenance on plumbing, physical structure, electrical fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment. This candidate must be comfortable using hand, power, electrical, and plumbing tools. They will complete work orders as assigned by supervisor, respond immediately to guest room maintenance requests, respond to emergencies, and perform necessary assignments to ensure guest and employee safety.
A successful candidate must have basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pool care, and hand power tools. Ability to work well with others. Ability to take direction and work unsupervised. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, be friendly, courteous, and a team player, enjoy working with people; be well-dressed and groomed. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Food and Beverage
In-Room Dining Server
$8.00 per hour + Gratuities
Must be 21 years or older. Minimum two (2) years of serving experience, preferably in Room Service. Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Must have ability to lift 15-45 lbs and stand for a 6-8 hour shift. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, and be a team player. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. Must have a Valid California Driver's license. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
In Room Dining Supervisor
The In Room Dining Supervisor provides direct daily supervision and leadership to the In Room Dining Staff. This hands-on, energetic individual works collaboratively with the In Room Dining Manger in the efficient delivery of the highest standards of five diamond service to our guests. Schedules and delegates duties to the In Room Dining staff. Must show a passion for excellence. Interacts/coordinates with all divisions of the resort and recommends best practices and solutions to ensure effectiveness and consistency in guest service and quality. Leads by example, acts as a role model for others, and exhibits the highest levels of professionalism. Acts as a resource for the improvement of the guest experience and future growth and development of the resort.
An ideal candidate must have excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English Language. 2 years In-Room Dining Server or In-Room Dining Coordinator experience. Excellent people skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to work productively with other operating departments. Ability to handle obstacles in a positive and professional manner and to effectively communicate these problems, along with suggested solutions to Manager. Maintain professional appearance, behavior, integrity, and openness to Associates and guests. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Ability to work without constant, direct supervision. Be active in the role of safety and security. Be cognizant of all emergency reporting procedures. Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment. Ability to focus attention to details. Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding and difficult customer situations. Ability to provide clear and pleasant telephone communication to all callers. Ability to enforce hotel's standards, policies and procedures. Excellent motivational skills and positive energy with internal and outside guest interactions. Loss Prevention Officer
$13.50 per hour
The Loss Prevention Officer provides a safe environment for guests and employees. They minimize opportunities for loss and damage and act to deter any agent or element from jeopardizing persons or property in or about the resort. Respond to all emergency calls. Write detailed incident reports on incidents, which occur, on property.
Requirements: Minimum 1 yr experience in security or loss prevention with customer services experience; hotel experience preferred. TIPPS certified. CPR & First Aid Certification. No criminal record. Candidate must possess strong attention to detail, problem solving, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate with diverse personalities; have an outgoing personality, be friendly, courteous and enjoy working with people; be well-dressed and groomed. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are required. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Artist Cottage Coordinator
$16.00 per hour
The primary responsibility for this position is to continually perpetuate the reputation of the Artist's Cottage and Apothecary through classroom art instruction offering classes in a variety of mediums, support spa activities and engage with guests about the Cottage offerings.
$8.00 per hour + Commission
A successful candidate will provide professional services and nail treatments. They must be qualified to perform all aspects of nail care (standard manicures, French manicures, tips & wraps, nail repair, pedicures, foot/hand massage, paraffin treatments) using current techniques. They require CA cosmetology license or manicurist license. Must have professional appearance, be friendly, courteous, dedicated, organized, meticulous, and be team player. Excellent communication skills and a flexible schedule are required. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
