Culinary

Banquet Line Cooks /On-Call/ $12.50 per hour 

Minimum one (1) year minimum culinary experience or training equivalent. Ability to follow recipes. Ability to follow directions. Ability to work without daily supervision. Ability to focus attention to details in performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize work assignments. Excellent guest service skills and attitude. Enthusiasm for working in a team oriented, fast paced environment that fosters creativity. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

The Oak/Line Cook III /Full-Time /$13.00 per hour

The Line Cook 3 assists the culinary team in providing Five Diamond standards of service and cooking to guests while practicing OVI&S policies and procedures. They are responsible for picking up and delivering items used in the food preparation and service in kitchen from storage/preparation areas. He/she will provide needed assistance in the set-up and break-down of the various food stations. He/she will also assist in the maintenance and organization of storage areas. Works to ensure that all needed kitchen supplies are obtained from storage and properly distributed in a timely manner. Requirements: Minimum of (2-3) years of experience in an upscale restaurant or hotel fine dining room. This position requires the ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment; proven success in teamwork, innovation and creativity, high personal standards and a strong desire to fulfill guest expectations; flexibility with schedule, training in sanitation and Spanish skills are helpful. Formal culinary training is preferred. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.  

Engineering 

Engineer II/Full-Time/$15.00 per hour

The Engineer II assists Facilities Technician III and conducts minor to intermediate repairs and maintenance on plumbing, physical structure, electrical  fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, using hand and power tools, electrician, and plumbing tools. Will complete work orders as assigned by supervisor; respond immediately to guest room maintenance requests, etc.; respond to emergencies; and perform necessary assignments to ensure guest and employee safety. This candidate will also back up loss prevention for emergency situations. A successful candidate must have basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pool care, and hand power tools. Ability to work well with others. Ability to take direction and work unsupervised. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, be friendly, courteous, and a team player, enjoy working with people; be well-dressed and groomed. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

 

Food & Beverage

Food & Beverage Outlet Supervisor /Full-Time/DOE

The Food & Beverage provides direct daily supervision and leadership to the Food & Beverage staff. This hands-on, energetic individual works collaboratively with Food & Beverage mangers in the efficient delivery of the highest standards of five diamond service to our guests. Schedules and delegates duties to the staff. Must show a passion for excellence. Interacts/coordinates with all divisions of the resort and recommends best practices and solutions to ensure effectiveness and consistency in guest service and quality. Leads by example, acts as a role model for others, and exhibits the highest levels of professionalism. Acts as a resource for the improvement of the guest experience and future growth and development of the resort. A minimum four (4) year experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor or Manager, plus a minimum two (2) year fine dining experience or Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience in high end restaurants. Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage point-of-sale systems. Thorough knowledge of wines and spirits. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in the English language. Ability to perform basic arithmetic. Knowledge of fine service related to special-event planning and execution. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Anticipate and identify problem sources and resolutions. Think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions. Ability to prioritize projects and assignments. Multi task while maintaining a hospitable and professional demeanor. Ensure adherence to established timelines. Manage multiple projects and processes at a time. Excellent people skills, approachable demeanor. Poised, warm and friendly disposition. Ability to positively influence hotel revenues and guest satisfaction results. Pool Supervisor /Full-Time /DOE

The Main Pool Supervisor provides direct daily supervision and leadership to the Main pool Staff. This hands-on, energetic individual works collaboratively with the Main Pool Manger in the efficient delivery of the highest standards of five diamond service to our guests. Schedules and delegates duties to the Pool staff. Must enjoy working outdoors. Must show a passion for excellence. Interacts/coordinates with all divisions of the resort and recommends best practices and solutions to ensure effectiveness and consistency in guest service and quality. Leads by example, acts as a role model for others, and exhibits the highest levels of professionalism. Acts as a resource for the improvement of the guest experience and future growth and development of the resort. An ideal candidate must have excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English Language. Minimun 2 years of a Supervisor role in F&B outlet. Excellent people skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to work productively with other operating departments. Ability to handle obstacles in a positive and professional manner and to effectively communicate these problems, along with suggested solutions to Manager. Maintain professional appearance, behavior, integrity, and openness to Associates and guests. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Ability to work without constant, direct supervision. Be active in the role of safety and security. Be cognizant of all emergency reporting procedures. Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment. Ability to focus attention to details. Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding and difficult customer situations. Ability to enforce hotel's standards, policies and procedures. Excellent motivational skills and positive energy with internal and outside guest interactions. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests and pertinent Inn information. Joe & Go Cashier/ Temp/$11.00 per hour + gratuities

Minimum one (1) year of food serving experience, preferably in the hotel industry. Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Must have ability to lift 15-45 lbs and stand for a 6-8 hour shift. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, and be a team player. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Maravilla Host/ess/Part-Time/$10.00 per hour + Gratuities

The Maravilla Host/ess is responsible for providing exemplary service at the Maravilla. This individual acts not only as a Host/ess, but also attends to guest services and the upkeep of cleanliness of the Host Stand and Entrance. With a very high degree of guest contact, the Maravilla Host/ess is ideally positioned to enhance the guest experience and plays an essential role in the resort's goal of exceeding high guest expectations. Remaining constantly aware of both the restaurant and Bar environments, engaging with guests, anticipating their needs and taking initiative to improve their stay will be focus areas for the Maravilla Host/ess. Minimum two (2) years hosting experience, preferably in the hotel industry and or upscale establishment. Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Must have ability to lift 15-45 lbs and stand for a 6-8 hour shift. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, and be a team player. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Maravilla Food Runner/Full Time/$11.50 per hour

The Maravilla Food Runner is ideally positioned to enhance the guest experience and plays an essential role in the resort's goal of exceeding high guest expectations. Remaining constantly aware of the restaurant environments, engaging with guests, anticipating their needs and taking initiative to improve their stay will be focus areas for the Maravilla Food Runner. Minimum two (2) years of food running/serving experience, preferably in the hotel industry and or upscale establishment. Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Must have ability to lift 15-45 lbs and stand for a 6-8 hour shift. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, and be a team player. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Loss Prevention & Safety

Loss Prevention Officer/ Part-Time/ $13.50

The Loss Prevention Officer provides a safe environment for guests and employees . They minimize opportunities for loss and damage and act to deter any agent or element from jeopardizing persons or property in or about the resort. Respond to all emergency calls. Write detailed incident reports on incidents, which occur, on property. Requirements: Minimum 1 yr experience in hospitality. Security, law enforcement, military or loss prevention with customer services experience preferred. TIPPS certified. CPR & First Aid Certification. No criminal record. Candidate must possess strong attention to detail, problem solving, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate with diverse personalities; have an outgoing personality, be friendly, courteous and enjoy working with people; be well-dressed and groomed. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are required. Ability to work weekends and holidays.  

Reservations

Reservation Agent /Full-Time /$14.00 per hour

The reservation agent must enjoy making the sale by balancing their savvy sales technique and a gracious warm style of guest service that we demand. They must be comfortable handling high call volume, answering incoming Reservations calls in accordance with AAA Five Diamond standards. They assist guests in customizing their reservations through the Springer Miller System (SMS). They ensure detail accuracy and completeness and book and sell property activities including Spa, Golf, and Food & Beverage. Also contacts guests prior to arrival to ensure completion of the guest experience. Inputs internal reservations. Works cohesively as part of a team in completing tasks such as Next Day Arrival process, reservations booked, assists in running traces and cancellation reports. Minimum one (1) year reservations, sales or related experience. Requires prior experience handling high phone call volume. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. Ability to perform basic arithmetic. Warm and welcoming demeanor and exceptional phone etiquette. Must have an outgoing personality, be friendly, courteous and enjoy working with people. Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding and difficult customer situations. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel). Demonstrate proficient typing skills. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Ability to focus attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
