Food and Beverage
$8.00 per hour + Gratuities
The Maravilla Server must be knowledgeable in all F&B areas and is responsible for providing exemplary service at the Maravilla. The setting is intended to promote an environment of upscale, professional and friendly dining experience with food offerings that are focused on California Central Coast Cuisine and an award winning wine list.
Must be 21 years or older. Minimum two (2) years of serving experience, preferably in the hotel industry and or an upscale establishment. Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Must have ability to lift 15-45 lbs and stand for a 6-8 hour shift. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, and be a team player. Must have ability to read, write, and speak in English. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
$14.00 per hour
The reservation agent must enjoy making the sale by balancing their savvy sales technique and a gracious warm style of guest service that we demand. They must be comfortable handling high call volume, answering incoming Reservations calls in accordance with AAA Five Diamond standards. They assist guests in customizing their reservations through the Springer Miller System (SMS). They ensure detail accuracy and completeness and book and sell property activities including Spa, Golf, and Food & Beverage. Also contacts guests prior to arrival to ensure completion of the guest experience. Inputs internal reservations. Works cohesively as part of a team in completing tasks such as Next Day Arrival process, reservations booked, assists in running traces and cancellation reports.
Minimum one (1) year reservations, sales or related experience. Requires prior experience handling high phone call volume. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. Ability to perform basic arithmetic. Warm and welcoming demeanor and exceptional phone etiquette. Must have an outgoing personality, be friendly, courteous and enjoy working with people. Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding and difficult customer situations. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel). Demonstrate proficient typing skills. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Ability to focus attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
